Since Amazon no longer delivers or ships to South Africa I had to make use of a third party shipping company MyUS and of course, this expensive, heirloom piece arrived broken in several pieces at my door. Amazon refunded me, as the people responsible for the packaging never added in any buffering material such as bubble wrap or anything else. Plus the 2 ceramic pieces were far to close together. It probably broke on its very first transit. Beware foreigners where Amazon does not ship to. THEY probably will refund for shoddy packaging, but the third party will wash its hands in innocence. Thus you will lose a very VERY expensive shipping cost. And Amazon was kind enough to offer to resend met the product, but what was the use of this offer, since AGAIN I will have had to make use of the third party to ship it, at another super cost. Not worth it at all. I have to wonder why Amazon keeps sending me promotional material of the stuff I love when they're not prepared to deliver. I cried my eyes out over this product. It was an nightmare for me, as a South Africa, to purchase this from Amazon. Be very very careful.

I already have this cake plate and just ordered one for my daughter and it is worth every penney of the money. It is a very large cake plate that I just leave out all the time and receive compliments all the time someone comes to my house. Great cake plate. Thank you Glitterville for making this amazing cake plate.
