Used this cake stand for my second wedding. Received many compliments on the look of this stand and how it showcased the cakes. A 12 inch cake should only be used in the center section of the stand. I used a 14 inch round cake and the 10 inch cake on the second tier overlapped and blocked the view of the design on the 14inch center cake. this was a Christmas wedding, so I removed the center cake and used greenery and lights in the center section and set the 14 inch cake just to the right side of the stand . Very elegant presentation.
