This stand was not what I was expecting. The top piece was attached to the sides with what looked like spot welding, and it was clearly visible on the outside. I don't know why that wasn't done underneath so it couldn't be seen, it really took away from the overall look of the piece. The one I received was damaged, a leg had been broken off completely during shipping. I had returned it and did not reorder this item.
